What is the water cycle?

Before reaching our taps, water follows a path that has been the same for several centuries. Sea water evaporates, the droplets thus formed constitute the clouds that fall back to the ground as precipitation (rain, hail, snow). This rainwater will feed the underground water tables and recharge the rivers, which in turn will flow into the sea. In order to be able to use water for these different needs, man has had to become part of this natural cycle.
