The IMRAutois an industrial digital display featuring a 4–20 mA analog input and a high-visibility LED screen.
Its primary function is to convert and display, in real time, the electrical signal from a sensor (such as a piezometric probe, an ultrasonic probe, an NRV radar, or a pressure transmitter) into a physical value that is directly readable by the operator (meters, bars, etc.).
The term “AUTO” means that this is a self-powered display. The IMRAuto does not require a connection to a 230V mains supply or an external 24V power source to operate. It draws the power required for its display and electronics directly from the sensor’s 4–20 mA measurement loop (5V voltage drop). This is a major advantage that drastically simplifies wiring and reduces installation costs.
Yes, absolutely. Although it is a self-powered device, it includes one fully configurable relay output.
Users can thus configure two separate switching thresholds or use this dry contact for fault signaling. This is ideal for triggering a local alarm or controlling a small local control system in your water and wastewater facilities.
By default, IMRAuto displays measurements in meters (m), a unit of measurement that is particularly popular for applications involving water depth and level (water towers, pumping stations, reservoirs, etc.)
However, as a manufacturer, our flexibility allows us to offer you a wide range of optional units tailored to your specific industry:
The unit of measurement is then displayed on the front panel.
The IMR AUTO features a standardized 48 x 96 mm flush-mount design, making it ideal for direct installation on the front panel or door of a control cabinet or electrical enclosure.
For installations that do not include a door cutout, PARATRONIC offers a DIN rail mounting kit ( IMR Din option), which allows the device to be easily clipped directly onto the cabinet’s internal frame.
You can also mount your IMR display on the front of your cabinets, on the door, so you can read the information at a glance.
Installation is a breeze. The IMRAuto is wired in series with the existing 4–20 mA loop between your sensor and your PLC or data acquisition system where the display is missing.
Because it has a low line voltage drop (5V), integrating it does not interfere with the original signal and does not require any changes to your site’s overall architecture.
The IMRAuto comes with a 2-year warranty.
