STORY CÔTE D'IVOIRE :

INTRODUCTION :

Story Ivory Coast

One of the fundamentals of our export strategy is to be as close as possible to our customers via technical support provided by our business experts. You have probably already read about this in our article " international ambition".

Indeed, PARATRONIC has made customer support a priority for the good use of its products. The proof being, a delegation composed of our international trade director, Mickaël VICENTE, our hydrology sales director, Joan PETRINGER and finally our West Africa market manager, Ali BASMA, went on a two-week mission to Côte d'Ivoire.

They went to the field with three specific objectives:

Aries Region Telemetry Project - Côte d'Ivoire

The first intervention concerned the telemetry project in the Bélier region. It focused on the verification and supervision of the proper functioning of the three hydrological stations in the region.

Firstly, the Didiévie station which is equipped with several PARATRONIC instruments including a level probe (SNA) and a complete LNS acquisition box.

Then, on the Kimoukro station, there is an airborne radar sensor CR420 and a complete LNS box. This station is located on the Bandama River, the largest river in Côte d'Ivoire, which is almost 800 km long.

And finally, the Lomo Nord station is also equipped with a CR420 radar sensor and a complete LNS cabinet.

Training of Ministry of Hydrology staff and Ciber collaborators :

For the second part of the mission to Côte d'Ivoire, we had the honour of being received by the company Ciber, which is the organiser of this event. Our delegation had the privilege of technically presenting our products and solutions related to hydrology to the agents of the ministry and to the employees of the company Ciber. The aim was to accompany them in the process of using the hydrological stations and more particularly the use of the LNS box and the parameterization of the sensors (SNA probes, CR420 radars) thanks to a dedicated software.

Audit at the Guru basin :

Finally, the last achievement of this trip was the audit of the measuring stations of the GOUROU basin in collaboration with its administration integrated in the Ministry of Hydrology.

The PARATRONIC team visited 6 stations dedicated to Gourou watershed hydrometric stations, meteorological stations and flood control dams

A positive outcome:

In addition to the missions carried out, this experience in Côte d'Ivoire has also enabled :

- a first African mission for Mickaël VICENTE who has just joined the international management of PARATRONIC.

- to increase contacts for Ali BASMA, our VIE West Africa market manager based in Dakar.

- to benefit from the business expertise of Joan PETRINGER.
