More and more people are affected by floods and flooding, and the associated material damage is becoming increasingly costly for our society. However, climate change is also causing severe low water levels which are making water resources scarce.
To understand, monitor, better inform the population of the flood risks, to acquire data and thus knowledge in order to react in time, here are the subjects on which PARATRONIC develops simple and effective systems, in close collaboration and by answering the requirements of professionals hardened in the fight against these various plagues.
The acquisition of rainfall, limnimetric, flowmeter and physico-chemical data, transmission in real time or on a regular time scale with a view to centralising information, data storage and criticism, transmission of alarms, historising of measurements and events, inter-application or inter-departmental data exchange for flood forecasting or the pooling of hydrological data, are now essential elements for hydrological management, whether for flood forecasting or water resource management.
Faced with the multiplication of proprietary solutions that have developed through the offers of different manufacturers and the incompatibility of equipment from different origins is the main brake on the evolution of existing systems. The multitude of communication protocols, the different operating systems and the desire to preserve monopoly positions are pushing manufacturers to close down their systems.
These solutions are then unsuitable for integration into new schemes, other than those mastered by the initial supplier. This situation, which is very uncomfortable for users, leads to rigidity and above all to very limited possibilities of evolution, which quickly render the systems obsolete.
Our offer is part of a radically different approach and guarantees the sustainability of the investment.
PARATRONIC develops Multi Protocols software in order to accomodate in the network of measurements of the existing materials, or to make it possible to the users to carry out networks integrating materials coming from various suppliers.
PARATRONIC equipment uses open and royalty-free protocols, which guarantees compatibility with all transmission media (radio, GSM, PSTN, satellite, etc.). The use of "thin client" interfaces allows the use of all types of machines and operating systems, with no limitation on the number of client stations (no licence limiting the number of users). The universality of the programming language allows the use of all types of machines and operating systems as diverse as Windows or Linux
Based on a station of acquisition ultra low consumption and a web supervisor (hosted software), the solution PARATRONIC enables you to carry out measurements of level, pluviometry, flow, quality of water (temperature, pH...) and to have at any time of your measurements in the form of tables, graphs as well as a cartographic representation of your network of measurements. Alerts are sent to you by SMS and e-mail.
Without a license or software installation, you can access your supervisor from any terminal connected to the Internet: Tablets, PCs, smartphones...
The Hosted Web Supervisor solution thus avoids any IT investment and frees you from server maintenance constraints.
Whether it's a local flood warning system, hydrological monitoring, flood forecasting or borehole monitoring, you have 24/7 access to your mapping and data.
Real-time data and map presentation: Moving the mouse over a station opens a "tooltip" showing the latest measurements transmitted by the station.
You can then access the "instant status" of your stations: last measurements taken, programmed alert threshold, current alert and photos or videos automatically transmitted by the station.
With a simple click you can access the analysis functions and thus create tables and graphs (curves and histograms) from the measurement history (3 years of measurements stored in the database). The data and graphs can then be exported: csv format (Excel compatible) for tables and pdf, jpeg, png, svg for graphs.
The configuration menu allows you to set the alert and pre-alert thresholds for which you wish to receive alarms by e-mail and/or SMS, as well as the order in which you want different people to be alerted if the alarm is not acknowledged.
In the field, the ultra-low consumption LNS station makes it possible to equip sites with no energy. Indeed, the LNS consumes on average less than 1 mA and manages the power supply of sensors, modems and cameras. Thus, the LNS can accelerate the frequency of measurements and/or transmissions when a threshold is exceeded. This global optimization of the site's consumption therefore makes it possible to equip autonomous sites with energy.
All the PARATRONIC teams are proud to announce the release of theAQUA-CJa new modular, multi-protocol, low-power station with a LARGE color touchscreen. TheAQUA-CJ is a multi-input station for managing all types of sensors: radar, piezometers, ultrasound, bubble bubbles, rain gauges, temperatures, physico-chemical and quality parameters, flow rates...
The LNS station can be connected to IP cameras but also to webcams. Thus, it produces photos and videos not only at fixed time intervals but also on events in order to be able to visualize the reality of the event in case of an alert.
The LNS and AQUA-CJ stations are multi-protocol stations. Data can be collected in a variety of ways.
At a distance:
Measurements can be sent in "push mode" by ftp or http as a simple e-mail attachment.
The LNS station also manages the PLQ 2000 protocol, so it can be collected by most market supervisors and guarantees full interoperability with the state's deconcentrated services (SPC, DREAL, DDTM, etc.).
A simple web browser allows access to the data and parameterization of the entire LNS station. The PC or the tablet can be connected either by USB cable or Wifi.
The graphical colour screen on the front of the station allows you to consult all the information and make graphs, and the 22-key keypad makes it easy to set the parameters.
Data can also be downloaded directly to a USB stick.

PARATRONIC will participate in the 9th World Water Forum which will take place in Dakar from 21 to 26 March 2022. Our stand will be hosted in the "choose France" area organised by Business France.
What is the PLV 400 Rain Gauge?
The PLV 400 is an automatic rain gauge of 400 cm² with double tilting buckets.
The incrementing volume of the measurements corresponding to 0.2mm of rain (or 0.1 on request) is made by a magnetic contact of the "REED" type.
