Fire monitoring
The Office National des Forêts(ONF) and the Alpes de Haute-Provence departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS 04) have joined forces to acquire an automatic forest fire detection system.
The "ADELIE" system (Alert Detection and Localisation of Fires), which has already proved its effectiveness since 2006 in several French departments, is now present in the Alpes de Haute Provence department.
Video system for detecting fires in natural areas
The ADELIE system is designed to detect, confirm, locate, alert and monitor fires in natural areas.
