Fire monitoring
The Office National des Forêts(ONF) and the Alpes de Haute-Provence departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS 04) have joined forces to acquire an automatic forest fire detection system.
The "ADELIE" system (Alert Detection and Localisation of Fires), which has already proved its effectiveness since 2006 in several French departments, is now present in the Alpes de Haute Provence department.
Video system for detecting fires in natural areas
The ADELIE system is designed to detect, confirm, locate, alert and monitor fires in natural areas.
Composed of detection cameras and / or cameras of doubt removal, placed on different high points to cover the area to be monitored
Installation of a hydrological station at the intersection of several tributaries of the Indre for SABI36 in Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre: LNS, level sensor, camera for doubt removal, web supervisor.
