USP for ultrasonic sensor :
The USP is a hand-held console for programming PARATRONIC ultrasonic sensors for non-contact level measurement: the US6 and US10sensors .
To carry out the PARATRONIC ultrasonic sensor parameterisation using the USP programming console, certain key data must be known, including
- The height between the ultrasonic sensor and the drain (or the bottom of the tank, lift station, storm overflow, river, ...)
- The level or drawdown for which you want a 20 mA signal (e.g. the height of a tank overflow, the maximum level of a river, a water table, etc., or the filling level of a lift station).
- The actual measurement of the level or drawdown.
Using the programming console connected to the ultrasonic sensor (US6/US10), it is possible at any time during operation to :
- Read the measurement values from the sensor,
- Check the heel and distance values,
- Change the programming parameters.
The power supply to the programming console is automatically interrupted as soon as the ultrasonic sensor is disconnected from it.
