A look back at the National Congress of Firefighters of France in Toulouse which took place from 4 to 8 October 2023.

The ADELIE system for the early detection of fires in natural environments by the artificial intelligence embedded in its cameras was presented at the CNSPF on the PARATRONIC stand.

During this event, our partner Pompier Center filmed a video that gives the opportunity to present the PARATRONIC solution to the fire brigade community.

Here is the interview with its forest fire sales manager.

Could you tell us a bit about PARATRONIC?

ADELIE is a forest fire detection and location solution that has been around for 15 years. Thanks to the on-board Artificial Intelligence, the system's cameras will monitor the canopy, they will be able to detect smoke in the images, and will thus allow them to tell the firefighters where the fire is located.

Which SDIS are currently equipped with the ADELIE solution?

Historically, the ADELIE system was developed with the SDIS des Landes, following a call for tenders from the SDIS 40. Then other SDIS (departmental fire and rescue service) were equipped: SDIS 47 Lot et Garonne, SDIS 17 Charente-Maritime, SDIS 04 Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, SDIS 83 Var, SDIS 34 Hérault, SDIS 72 Sarthe and recently, the Aude department with the SDIS 11 which has just been equipped.
