LNS Update

Changes between version 2.18.19 and version 2.18.22

1. SFTP correction
2. Export requests are no longer piled up and take so long to process (corrects errors in case of frequent exports).
3. Clarification of modem mode names: 2G 3G 4G...
   • "auto 2G/3G" becomes "2G / 3G (specific mode, consult Paratronic)" (SCHAPI/DREAL specific)
   • "auto 2G/4G" becomes "2G / 4G (specific mode, consult Paratronic)" (SCHAPI/DREAL specific)
   • "3G" becomes "auto 2G/3G/4G (recommended)
   • "4G" becomes "auto 2G/3G/4G (recommended)".
4. Corrects CMR modem operation (specific to SCHAPI/DREAL)

From a PC connected to the Station:

1) Download the update from the link below.

2) Log on to the station with your browser.

3) Select the "Maintenance" tab

6) Place the "zip" file in the dotted area marked "Firmware file".

7) Click on "Load firmware into station".

8) Follow the information on the screen.

9) Do not switch off the power supply during the procedure, as the station will restart by itself once the update is complete.

10) In order to connect to the station via USB, once the station has been updated, it may be necessary to reinstall the USB driver on the PC, depending on the original version.

Note: Settings files from previous versions are not compatible with version 2. However, in the case of an upgrade from version 1.6 or higher to version 2, the parameters present in the SNSL will be automatically converted to the new

With the help of a USB key:

1) Download the update from the link.

2) Unzip the file

3) Copy the contents of the file directly onto a USB stick (raw without folder)

4) Insert the key on the LNS

5) On the station display, in the "Read from USB stick" menu, select "Firmware".

6) Click on "Yes" and follow the on-screen instructions.

7) Do not switch off the power supply during the procedure, as the station will restart by itself once the update is complete.

8) In order to connect to the station via USB, once the station has been updated, it may be necessary to reinstall the USB driver on the PC, depending on the original version.

Note 1 Firmware must not be "zipped" and must be located at the root of the key (= not in a folder).
Note 2 Parameter files from previous versions are not compatible with version 2. However, when upgrading from version 1.6 or higher to version 2, the parameters in the LNS will be automatically converted to the new format.
